The closest resemblance to official iPhone 13 models may be leaked Dummies

Reportedly, the pictures of the next iPhone13 series have been revealed pictures of the cases as well as the mock-up models on which they are based.

Given Apple’s recent crackdown on leakers, we’re not sure if Benks will suffer any consequences for publishing the photos, but the business has erased the Apple logo on its end.

What image depicts?

The image depicts the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 small, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max, which are said to be part of Apple’s 2021 smartphone range.

Only the rear is visible, and the photos don’t disclose anything we don’t already know: the new models will feature larger camera bumps and sensors than their predecessors.

Marques Brownlee, a YouTuber, appears to have gotten his hands on iPhone 13 dummies, and his models (seen in the headline) are slightly different in that they display comparably smaller sensors. The focus of this study is mostly on Benk’s units.

The camera cutouts on iPhone 13 covers are likewise larger.

The iPhone 13 and 13 Pro will allegedly feature 3.65mm and 2.51mm thick camera bulges, respectively, compared to the 1.5mm and 1.7mm thick camera bulges on the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.

Apple appears to have raised the depth of the camera bump in order for lenses to fit flush with the camera modules, similar to the new iPad Pro.

The camera bumps on the new phones are also said to be larger diagonally, as seen by these pictures. Because the camera islands on the small and regular versions are only projected to be a trifle larger than their predecessors, the difference may not be noticeable.

That’s because, rather than enlarging the hump, Apple appears to have switched the arrangement from vertical to diagonal to accommodate bigger sensors.

On the other hand, the camera bulges on the Pro versions are projected to increase from about 28mm by 30mm to 36mm by 37mm. The bump is also closer to the edges now, as seen by the photos.4

These changes are suggestive not only of the new phones’ camera upgrades but also of the Pro versions’ comparable camera specifications. According to reports, sensor-shift stabilization will no longer be limited to the Max model, and the iPhone 13 Pro will have the improved telephoto unit seen in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. In addition, the Pro versions are expected to include a better ultra-wide lens and a bigger LiDAR sensor.

In terms of other design features, we’ve heard that the new phones will be slightly thicker than their predecessors, presumably to accommodate larger batteries and that the notch will be smaller.
