What to Expect at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Event on August 11th

Samsung has sent out invitations to an event on August 11 where the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are scheduled to be unveiled. Because this is a virtual event, no venue has been announced. It will take place on Wednesday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m. IST.

At its Unpacked event next month, the South Korean company is likely to unveil up to four new smartphones. The event’s motto is “Get Ready to Unfold,” which could be a clue at the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3‘s debut. According to rumours and leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s appearance and design will be similar to that of its predecessor.

The compatibility with Samsung’s S Pen is perhaps the most significant upgrade coming to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. For a long time, the S Pen was only available on the Galaxy Note range, but Samsung is finally bringing the stylus to other phones. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, the company’s most recent flagship, includes a stylus.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will most likely be unveiled at the same time. While it may appear to be identical to the previous generation model, Samsung is rumoured to have increased the size of the screen on the outside.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 are both foldable smartphones with differing pricing points and target populations. According to rumours, both handsets would cost slightly less than their predecessors, albeit foldable smartphones are still a long way from being widespread.

Samsung could potentially be preparing to release a new pair of genuinely wireless headphones. The Galaxy Buds 2, a follow-up to the basic Buds released in 2019, would reportedly focus on better audio. The Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) may be released, but due to a global chip shortage, its availability may be limited to specific areas.
